These compressed coir discs expand when soaked in water for 10-15 minutes, yielding approximately 400g of crumbly powder—easier to use than coir bricks—for filling small pots or containers in home or commercial gardening. Fully hydrated, a disc holds 8-10 times its volume in water, with final expansion varying by water amount.

High-grade versions feature low EC and pH, washed multiple times to minimize salt buildup in soil.
